Nordic Championships 2012

The seven Nordic Countries, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Estonia and Latvia were represented at the Nordic Championships in Kristianstad, Sweden on the 14th of April 2012.

Denmark won the Nordic Challenge trophy by accumulating most points and medals. The Nordic Presidents or representatives attended the Nordic EC-meeting the day before the Championships.

The following was decided by the meeting:

To establish a new Nordic Judge/Referee licence in order to motivate national Referees to attend and be more prepare for futures EKF/WKF Referee Courses,

to approve the new Nordic Karate Federation Logotype,

to broadcast the Championships in real time through web-television,

to approve the proposal regarding the statutes,

to have the next Nordic Championships in Oslo, Norway on the 13th April 2013.
