On 15th May 2011 the English Karate Federation held their Annual General Meeting.
The meeting was well-attended and the atmosphere was friendly and positive. There is firm consensus across the country that Karate in England has been developing very well in the four years that the EKF has been in existence.
Carl Lindley was re-elected as President of the EKF and thanked the members for their enthusiastic support. Also re-elected to the EKF Board of Directors was Karate legend Ticky Donovan and WKF Treasurer, Mike Dinsdale, accepted a place as of right on the Board. Chair of the European Technical Committee, Mike Billman, had decided to step down due to pressures of work as his contribution will be sorely missed.
