On the occasion of the 7th World Junior & Cadet Championships being held in Melaka (Malaysia), on 13th October, the WKF Women Commission was present, represented by the Chairman, Mrs Carmela Diaz, and members representing 4 continents, Mrs Maria Elena Quiñones for America, Mrs. Makarita Lenoa for Oceania, Mrs. Yrsa Lindqrist from and Ms. Yasmin Chan from Asia.
They had a meeting where important decisions were taken as to how every one of them will work in their continent but maintaining communication between them and reporting to the Chairman; Mrs. Diaz. They expect to develop a program to work next year in especific areas were women and girls need more help.
Also expecting for an activity in Tunez hoping to recruit a representative from Africa for the Commission.
