From the 3rd to the 9th September, the African Championships took place in Rabat (Morocco), hosted by the RFMK. The countries participating were Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, Rwanda, Tunisia, Libya, Gabon, Botswana, Ivory Coast, Chad, South Africa, Mali, Congo Brazaville and Benin. Everything developed smoothly under the leadership of the UFAK Presidetn Mr. Mesbahi Tahar. Also the President of the WKF was present in Rabat and took the opportunity to have a close contact with the African Karate.
