WKF Karate1 Premier League and World Cup

The WKF has successfully completed the organization of the Premier League – Karate 1 events in 2011 and moves on according to its plans for the conclusion of Karate 1 project.

In 2012 the Premier League will have 7 events all over the world according to the programme that has already been announced and will further continue with the inclusion of 5 new Karate 1 – World cup events for 2012.

Since there is not much time left until the end of the present year, especially for this first time, the applications for hosting a Karate 1–World Cup will be sent to the WKF Secretariat Office via e-mail accompanied by a detailed technical dossier. The deadline for submitting the applications is December 10th and the final choice of the cities that will host the first 5 Karate 1-World cups will be announced on the 20th of December 2011.

The WKF intention is to distribute those 5 Karate 1-World Cup events among the Continental Federations as follows:

Europe: 2, Asia: 1, America: 1, Oceania or Africa: 1

The above mentioned distribution will also depend on the completion of the bidding files.
